Saint Michael's Parish Youth Group is a small, but very active group, ranging in age from high school through college. They do service projects (see the article "The Shrine Behind the Parking Lot"); decorating the church for Christmas; take part in religious programs such as days of recollection, the Byzantine Youth Rally and parish services.
They have fun with fund-raising activites such as car washes, bake sales, the annual palacsinta breakfast (
palacsinta are soft egg-rich pancakes similar to crepes or blintzes), t-shirt sales and whatever else they might dream up. The funds are used to support the group's activities.
